Alan Coulahan, Chief Fire Officer, Dublin-Weston Executive Airport, Bray Air Display 2016 support airfield:
It was a credit to work alongside Follow Me - Aircraft Marshallers, their professionalism was outstanding over the last few days and their safety aspects covering the ramp were second to none. Looking forward to working with the lads next year !!

Noel Connolly, Sports Club 15 - Weston's Special Day of Flying, June 2016
reat day indeed and fair play to your guys, superb job in tough conditions.

Gerry Humphreys, Air Show Director, Foynes Air Show 2015
Thank you all for making today's show such a success, despite the circumstances I believe we put on a memorable show. I am proud to have been a part of what we achieved and I know Howard would have been too. Safe home to all - see you next year!

Roger Cronin, Chairman Trim Flying Club, Trim FC BBQ & Family Day, September 2014
I hope you and your team have recovered from a very busy day at Trim last Saturday.
It was great to meet yourself, Eddie, Liam  & Paddy.

Can I put on record my personal appreciation and the deep gratitude of TFC for your teams enormous contribution to our event? It took a lot or responsibility and indeed a huge work-load off our shoulders, leaving us relatively free to "meet and greet", savour the athmosphere, chat to old friends and feed the hordes.

I was personally Gobsmacked at the huge number of aircraft that " dropped in" to visit us. Again , my deepest gratitude for a job so professionally well done.

Michele Dore, CFI Trim Flying Club, Trim FC BBQ & Family Day, September 2014
Thanks for all the help on Saturday. The day went so well. Hope you all were fed and watered enough!

Noel Connolly, Sports Club 15 - Weston's Special Day of Flying, May 2014
The smooth running of Weston’s Special Day of Flying was down in no small part to the Follow Me-Aircraft Marshallers crew. From our part, not to be worried about people and aircraft mixing on the ramp was a huge relief. Follow Me-Aircraft Marshallers kept a safe eye on the movement of people while controlling the movement of aircraft, not an easy task. When it was raining and we all made a dash for cover, your guys stayed out as an aircraft was taxing in from the active runway, ever the professionals.

Dave & Vanessa, Dublin-Weston Airport Operations

A big thank you to all the Follow Me-Aircraft Marshallers team again for the help & assistance today at the Sports Club 15 - Special Olyimpics Club, Weston Special Day of Flying 2014. Joe, Martin, Mike & Paddy your patience and assistance was greatly appreciated in the planning of the event. Our thanks also to Dermot, the two Eddies and Paul. It is great to work with people who know their game!

Rebecca Mount, Global Operations Director, Aviation Support Management, UK.
Glad we could help towards a great cause, especially when as a company we have the ethos and dedication to achieve international business within the emerging markets with the priority of "SAFETY", which comes in many forms.

Mark Dwyer, Deputy Editor, Flying in Ireland Magazine
Just dropping you a mail to say thanks to you and your team at Follow Me-Aircraft Marshallers for the excellent job you guys did at the 2013 Flying In Ireland Magazine / NMAI Fly-In at Limetree airfield. All of the aircraft were parked safely and neatly and the giant Sikorsky S.61 was marshalled into position with precision. We look forward to working with you guys again in the future.

Paul McMahon, Chairman, National Microlight Association of Ireland
President National Aero Club of Ireland

Thanks to all the Follow Me-Aircraft Marshallers for another outstanding and professional job marshalling at our recent Fly-In at Limetree Airfield. This is the 3rd year we have had the pleasure of working with Joe and the Team and we look forward to working with them in the near future.

Ian Thompson, Carrickmore Fly-In, May 2013

A big thanks to Paddy Kilduff, Joe "Jag" Gallagher & Mark McDermott for their help at Carrickmore Fly-in on Sunday 19th May. Following rain on the Saturday of monsoon type proportions the grass parking areas were soggy in places to say the least however we were able to pull a credible 26 visiting aircraft on the Sunday and the lads were able to sort out the best parking areas available - cheers lads!

Dave Scully, Event Director, Aviation Events Management Ltd.
It was a pleasure to be invited and meet with the team from Follow Me-Aircraft Marshallers yesterday evening for the Safety on the Ramp Seminar and End of Season Debrief. I am a firm believer in open dialogue when it comes to safety and I think yesterday demonstrated this to all involved. I applaud the great work you guys do to enhance safety at fly-ins & other aviation events.

Thank you again for the presentation of the Commemorative Air Force Marshallers Detachment Challenge Coin and I look forward to meeting you and the team again soon.

Ken Paynter, Lone Star Flight Museum-Warbird Marshaller, Galveston, Texas

You were a great help, I hope you and a few more of the Follow-Me Aircraft Marshallers “will join us next year, 30th Aug to 1st Sept 2013. Once again many thanks Joe, it was a pleasure working with you mate.

A quote from the Flyer Forum following LAA Rally 2012 at Sywell (1025 arrivals over four days, 588 on the Saturday alone)

"However, special thanks must go to the marshallers who did a superb job of welcoming us, fitting us all into our parking spaces and looking after the safety of some rather absent minded members of the general public. I dread to think how tired their arms are now!

Dave Scully, Director of Operations, Blue Square Aviation Group Ireland, after NMAI/FII Fly-In

Hi all, Just wanted to say a big thank you to all those who came along and helped with the Cooley Fly-in/Oars of Hope.
A special Thanks to Follow Me-Aircraft Marshallers, Alan McDermott, Bryan Hogan, Cian Cawley, Colman Corcoran, Eddie McDermott, Joe McDermott, Martin Russell, Mike Rogan, Paddy Kilduff & Séan Cawley, Aviation Events Management Ltd, Dave Scully, Mark Davito & Michael Traynor. You all kept us nice and safe on the day, we couldn’t have managed without you .

Dave Scully, Aviation Events Management Ltd. following Cooley Fly-In
Joe, it was a pleasure to work with you and your team on the Cooley Fly-in. The most important part of any aviation event is safety and this was demonstrated with both AEM Ltd and FMAM working together at Cooley. Dave Scully, Michael Traynor AEMLtd and the trainee SATCO Mark!

Séan Cawley, following Cooley Fly-In
Myself and my young nephew Cian (7) had great day in Cooley as part of The Follow Me-Marshallers team it was a pleasure to work along side colleagues and friends in a very professionally orchestrated ground operation. Cian was particularly pleased with being invited to sit in a Hughes Heli with a great history. Lots of A/C and Claire made sure everybody was fed it was a very enjoyable day! Thank you to all involved in organising the fly-in.

Ham Goulding, Irish Light Aircraft Association following ILAS Fly-In
Big congratulations and thanks to everyone involved in ILAS Fly-In at Taghmon. We enjoyed a new era of ground-handling efficiency with the wonderful men in the orange vests. You were fantastic, guys, and put in long hours without any sign of cracks appearing in either your good humour or your attention to detail. As for that man in the tower its a good job the IAA never found out about him or he'd have the big job in Shannon and be earning a bit more than he did at ILAS.

Paul McMahon following NMAI / Flying in Ireland Fly-In

Many thanks to Joe, Mike, Paddy, Brian, Colman and their team for their very professional and friendly help over the weekend at Clonbullogue. We certainly could not have done without them. Most jobs done voluntarily are thankless but your services are really appreciated by all involved in the Fly-In. 2 days, 130 aircraft, 49 Pilatus PC6 loads, 30 C182 loads and not one problem. We'll certainly have you back and would urge all others to avail of your services.
Thank you so much from all the organisers. All the best, Paul Mc Mahon, Chairman NMAI, President NACI, Chief Instructor IPC

William Hillick, CQ Comms.
Fair play to you guys. It’s a lot of work marshalling and a great relief to the airfields when it starts to get busy I’m sure. Dont know if you get paid for your efforts but it’s a fantastic safety factor that’s badly needed at fly ins. Will be availing of your wonderful service next week in Clonbollugue as I plan to fly in G-ZBLT. William, CQ Comms

Jim Breslin, President, AOPA-Ireland

Having reviewed the "Follow Me-Aircraft Marshallers" website, I am rather impressed with the basic idea. There is, we feel, an opening for properly trained and qualified Marshallers at many if not most of Irelands outdoor aviation functions. As AOPA puts safety issues as a priority, we are quite happy to endorse this venture and hope it receives the support it deserves.

Jim Breslin, President, AOPA Ireland, Member of International Council of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association

Paul Birney

An excellent web site. Well done. All the very best for the future.

Hugo Wilhare

Excellent idea all together. It will significantly add to safety at any fly-in marshalled by the group. Hugo Wilhare, Irish Aviation Sites

Michael Traynor

Hello guys. This is indeed a superb idea. Very welcome by all in the GA community. No doubt safety will be greatly enhanced at any event where you guys have control of marshalling aircraft. Your knowledge and experience is second to none on this island. You showed your true professionalism at Trim & Newcastle this summer. Hopefully you will be in attendance at many more events during 2011 and beyond. Good luck and congratulations to all in the team. Michael, Aviation Events Management Ltd.

Rowland Benbrook, North Weald Ground Crew

I like the look of your new site especially the site address. I've forwarded it onto Nigel and he thinks the same, perhaps when time allows we'll come up with something very similar. Should you get any requests for which you don't have enough marshallers to cover the event, don't forget to let us know, if we get enough notice we may be able to get a cheap Ryanair flight and come over and help for the weekend. Regards, Rowland, North Weald Ground Crew.

Kevin McDermott

Well done guys, love the gallery.Mick R & Brian H. Have'nt seen you guys in about 30 years but ye have'nt changed that much. Best of luck to you all!! Kevin McDermott............Still an enthusiast.

Mick Nolan, Waterford Airport/EIWF

Best of luck to you and the lads with the venture. What you are providing is a great service and is badly needed at all types of special events. It helps that you are all passionate and very knowledgeable about aviation ! I'm sure we'll be working together again during 2011 and beyond..........Mick Nolan, ATC , Waterford Airport

John Nugent, Newcastle Aerodrome Operator/EINC, County Wicklow

Thanks to the Follow Me-Marshallers team for expert marshalling and oversight of the airside area. Without this team the aircraft parking would have been difficult to manage with 138 movements on the Sunday alone, a mix of fixed wing & rotary aircraft. Communications worked brillently between ATC & the marshallers despite five seperate aircraft parking areas being used. A truley professional operation making "Safety First" work !

Mick McNamara

Excellent idea lads, will add much safety to busy fly-ins. A bit different to the North Apron at EIDW ! Mick McNamara, Loadmaster Crew, DHL Aviation

Ann & Harry Bennison, Anglo-Irish Classic Aircraft Association

Brian Dillon, Abbeyshrule/EIAB

Joe, Colman, Martin & all. Great stuff. The new venture looks great. Best of luck with it. I'll be watching out for you all when taxiing at the airfields in Ireland. I must dig out the books and learn all the signals again! Brian, Abbeyshrule/EIAB

Dave Scully, Aviation Events Managment Ltd.

Joe, Great to see such a professional team doing what they are good at. Best of luck and I am sure it will be sucessful and safe for the General Aviation sector as a whole.
